Capturing memories for years to come... that's what I strive for in every single picture I take. I've been photographing people's memories professionally for over 7 years, and I love every minute.

As a mom of three kids I know just how fast it all goes by. I remember someone telling me how quickly time passes when my son was born. Back then the nights and days were long, filled with late night feedings, burp cloths, and diaper changes. I couldn't possibly understand what they were talking about. Then my son's first birthday came and I cried and cried at how fast it had all gone. No more bottles, fewer late nights, and I felt a need to cherish every second. For a girl who loved taking pictures, photography was naturally my answer.

I had always been interested in photography, and had learned quite a bit in high school. I was the photo editor of my high school yearbook and learned my way around the darkroom. I went to college and found myself taking photography classes and becoming co-editor of the yearbook before I knew it. I loved film (and still do!) but after getting married and having a baby, processing film and working in a darkroom became difficult. I couldn't stand not taking pictures, so I took the leap and moved to digital. I haven't stopped capturing memories since. I began taking clients in 2008 and enjoy getting to know them and sharing in their special memories.
